Alabama Hunter Education News Bits

Posted June 17, 2005: Where Were You During The 1975-76 Hunting Season In Pictures....By Norman Morrison

So, where were you circa 1975-76? Chances are that if you were in our dimension at that time you were out in the field bow hunting, or perhaps doodling around the shooting range with the fellows. Back then we really loved to dress the part. You'll note these authentic pictures from those days when we used home made bows and wore our hats and coats to the range...that is if we were true gentlemen. Bow hunters were a bit scruffier. We were still using 1/2" plywood bolted to bed frames for tree stands. Is that a long pistol in that carrying case??
Below find two pictures. Click on them to bring up the front and back of the 1975-76 Alabama Hunting Schedule.
